Have you ever had a mousse save your life? Well, OK, but maybe your diet? This everything-fun-detox is taking its toll on me. Sugar cravings are bashing me in the head, and I’m craving everything from chocolate to pancakes to ice-cream. Thankfully, all that’s needed are four ingredients and a smoothie blender. It took me two minutes to make, and suddenly I had a big bowl of delicious. It can serve one, and preferably so; although it can be happily shared with your partner if you are feeling generous.
For a variation of texture, I served it will cacao nibs. Crunchy and delicious and healthy.
In fact, this mousse has the added benefit of being healthy.
Avocados are good for your heart, digestive system and contain a number of minerals.
Cacao and cacao nibs contains 20x more antioxidants than blueberries. It’s an aphrodesiac and when you eat it, the happy hormones it releases will make you feel so high.
1 avocado, super ripe
2 TB cacao
1/2 -2/3 cup mylk
2 TB maple syrup
Add all into a smoothie maker
Blend until smooth.
