My mum gave me a bag of tomatoes, and they didn’t seem to be sulfur-ridden and therefore were hastily going off. I decided to cut them all up (about 6 of them) and throw them in a pan. I added in lentils and spices, then served it up with whatever random junk was in the fridge.
Did I tell you the house didn’t end up happening? The loan wasn’t approved, thanks to a third party pulling out at the last minute. So we’re back at square one. But it means that we can stop living off frozen veg and carrots so much! We’re still saving but we’re not going to be as frugal for the moment.
