Yellow pancakes? Yeah, they’re a savoury pancake with pumpkin. But I add jam to the top and BAM pumpkin pancakes for breakfast. This recipe makes about 8 large pancakes.

To make, combine: 1/4 cup pumpkin puree + 1 cup milk + 1/2 cup water (optional) + 1 cup wholemeal self raising flour + 1 tsp mixed spice. Whisk together. On a small frying pan, melt a little butter and ladle a spoonful onto the pan. Cook and flip. Cool on a wire rack.
