At first I wanted to smash out a ‘bibimbap’ style Korean dish, but I didn’t really have all of the ingredients. The dish usually uses a few veggies, such as cucumber, mushrooms, spinach, sprouts, lettuce and tofu. Apparently they also set up the dish in a pretty way – “for visual appeal, the vegetables are often placed so adjacent colors complement each other“. And, because I really don’t know about what I’m doing with Korean food, I then went and tried for a ‘Bulgogi’ style tofu and kimchi. But I couldn’t find kimchi! I added some chilli to sauerkraut and hoped for the best. So this is likely the floppiest white person take on a Korean dish in the history of dishes. Tasted good though.
If, like me, you couldn’t get hold of any kimchi,
there’s a great
recipe at this link – here
If you can’t make it, I just added some chilli spice to Sauerkraut!
