Today’s quick meal idea is the tofu burger? Trust me, it’s not as gross as it sounds.
The way to make them best is to whip out your old pre-vegan cheese press machine. I slice my tofu up, and then cook on my toastie machine. It cooks both sides at once AND presses out liquid. After about 5-10 minutes of pressing, I then brush on some delicious BBQ sauce to each side. I then cook for another 5-10 minutes, adding on more sauce as needed. It’s then just a simple matter of assembling your burger!
