I was surprised that these worked, as they are the first properly vegan and gluten-free baked creations that I have tried. They were very dense, yes. But cut in half, toasted and slathered with peanut butter or butter-sub, and they are lovely. Only bananas for the sweetener, and we’re happy chaps.
