A big fat brownie is a wonderful thing. Especially when you make it a double layer crazy thing, and slap icing in the middle. And what’s better than a brownie that is HEALTHY? And I don’t mean healthy as in disgusting, or lacking in any taste. This is delicious.
But the way a brownie such as this works, is that you mustn’t go in expecting it to taste like a regular sugar-laden brownie. Because it doesn’t. It’s delicious, but yummy in its own way.
The brownie is based on the recipe from veggieinspiredjourney
- 2 cups cooked black beans
- 1/4- 1/2 cup liquid sweetener
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 2 TB espresso powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2 TB flaxmeal
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
